70% from memory...20% girl i've met in the uni library...10 % refs...didn't have enough time to finish the drawing there so had to find some ref pics that looked like her....and finish it at home.

Found through "more from DeviantArt" side panel. I think that the fact that some of the areas are left pretty rough actually contributes to the charm, rather than making it seem unfinished. The details are concentrated where it counts and the large square brush strokes are visually very appealing.
